The Book of Unknown Americans is Cristina Heníquez's third published book (The World in Half; Come Together, Fall Apart: A Novella and Stories). She has also published many short stories and essays over the years. Henríquez earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
