Bridging Identities, Stories & Communities

PCC Southeast Campus hosts a three-day signature series of performances, lectures, panels and presentations entitled cultureSEast. We invite PCC and the greater community to shape our campus experience by engaging the diverse cultures, identities and stories that comprise Southeast Portland – beyond what people might see on the surface.

This year’s cultureSEast event embodies the strength we all find from lifting up and calling in those of diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Over three days, we will explore ways to honor, understand, and take measurable action toward equity for all.

All events are open to the public and majority student-led with support from faculty, staff and community partners. There is an incredible range of events from storytelling and panel discussions to participatory art, readings, live performances, food carts, and resource fairs.

This guide provides additional resources about some of the panelists and performers participating in cultureSEast 2020.
