Solutions
Climate educators agree that focusing on solutions is an effective and ethical strategy for teaching climate change. The 2021 PCC Climate Action Plan is one way to connect students to a broad range of solutions. That plan includes specific targets for action on energy reduction; renewable energy; fleet emissions reduction; sustainable transportation and travel; water reduction; waste diversion; resiliency; and education and outreach. See below for additional curriculum resources.
