Throughout my career, I’ve straddled the worlds of teaching and technology and I love finding creative ways (high-tech, low-tech, or no-tech) to help students become lifelong critical information seekers. My favorite thing about being a librarian is interacting with students and faculty, so if you see me around, don’t hesitate to say hello! My professional interests include instructional design and instructional technologies, techniques for teaching information literacy, the research habits and needs of returning students, and assessment of student learning. In my free time, I love hiking, biking, losing myself in a good book, and exploring this amazing state with my son and husband.
