Digital Collections
- Architecture, Design, and Engineering collection - covers about 40,000 drawings (described in more than 3,900 catalog records), spanning 1600 to 1989, with most dating between 1880 and 1940. The designs are primarily for sites and structures in the U.S. (especially Washington, D.C.), as well as Europe and Mexico.
- The Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) and the Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) - among the largest and most heavily used in the Prints and Photographs Division of the Library of Congress. Many are public domain, but check the usage rights.
- Eero Saarinen in the Korab Collection - Almost 800 photographs by Balthazar Korab documenting 19 projects designed by renowned architect Eero Saarinen (1910-1961)
