AI and information literacy

We encourage instructors to add language to their syllabi related to use of generative AI. Fortunately, PCC's Writing faculty have developed several examples. View the document in an external page instead.

Students, make sure to check with your instructor before using AI tools for any course assignments, and be sure to cite any content they produce. 

Make sure you are using the material ethically and in line with any classroom policies your instructor has given you.  This guide from UC San Diego gives you some excellent things to think about regarding AI and Academic Integrity.
