PCC Tutoring: In-person and Remote, Winter 2023, Begins January 9

PCC Tutoring Services offers free content support for students registered in classes during the current term. Supporting over 50 different departments, tutoring allows students quick access to tutors to clarify concepts and deepen their understanding of the homework material.

PCC Tutoring is an appointment based service that is available to registered students. Students can book 30-minute tutoring appointments Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm across four physical locations (CA, RC, SE, & SY) and via PCC Zoom.

PCC Library has many resources that you can use on your own: 

• Each campus library offers quiet study spaces as well as study rooms you can reserve. (NOTE: During the campus closure, you cannot visit PCC campus libraries or reserve study rooms)

• Tutorials and Handouts covering everything from how to develop a topic to citing.

• Learning to cite sources - here are some handy tools to help:

• Citation creation tools lists free citation creation tools that will help you create a bibliography or works cited page.

• Citation style guidelines and samples provides resources on how to do citations in MLA, APA, Chicago, CSE, and AMA styles.

• Guidelines for quoting, paraphrasing, and summarizing helps you figure out how best to incorporate information in your paper--i.e. when to quote, when to paraphrase, and when to summarize.
